How This Site Makes Money

Some links on byfaysal.com are affiliate links. This means I earn a small commission if you purchase a product or service through my link — at no extra cost to you.

What This Means for You

My recommendations are not influenced by affiliate commissions. I only recommend tools and services I have personally used on real production projects. Many of the tools I recommend do not have affiliate programs at all — I recommend them anyway because they are the best option.

If a tool has both a great product and an affiliate program, I will use the affiliate link. If a tool has a generous affiliate program but a mediocre product, I will not recommend it. My reputation as a developer depends on honest recommendations — that is worth more than any commission.

How I Choose What to Recommend

Every tool recommended on this site meets these criteria:

  • I have used it on real client projects. Not installed on a demo site for 20 minutes — actually deployed in production.
  • I would recommend it without an affiliate program. The commission does not change my recommendation.
  • I can explain why it is better than alternatives for specific use cases. No tool is best for everyone.

Tools I Deliberately Do Not Recommend

Some products offer high affiliate commissions but I do not recommend them because the product quality does not meet my standards. I am transparent about this in my articles. When I say "I do not recommend X," that is an honest assessment, not a gap in my affiliate portfolio.
