WP Bulk Product Editor

Overview

WooCommerce's built-in bulk edit panel covers the basics — price, stock, categories — but ignores fields that store owners actually need to change in bulk. This plugin extends that panel with three additional fields: product type, affiliate URL, and button text.

No separate admin page. No new UI. It hooks directly into WooCommerce's existing bulk edit interface. The full story is in the Bulk Product Editor case study.

How It Works

Select products from the WooCommerce product list, expand the bulk edit panel, and the three new fields appear alongside the default ones. Change what you need, hit save. That is it.

For stores with hundreds of affiliate products, what used to require opening each product individually now takes a single bulk operation.

Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP from the sidebar
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload the ZIP file and click Install Now
4. Activate — the fields appear automatically in the bulk edit panel

Requirements

• WordPress 6.0 or higher
• WooCommerce 8.0 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher

Known Limitations

• Limited to three fields (product type, affiliate URL, button text). Adding custom fields requires code modification.
• Only works with the WooCommerce product list bulk edit — not compatible with third-party product management plugins.
